We, as VIX Tourism and Trade Incorporated Company (“VIX.events “), attach importance to your personal data that we process in the capacity of data supervisor and in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698. Therefore, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data.
PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Your personal data are processed within the framework of the following purposes and legal reasons in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No.6698 and other secondary regulations: Hotel Reservation Transactions: Your personal data are processed with the purpose of completion and management of your hotel reservation. Sending messages to remind you of booking confirmations, cancellations or changes are in the scope of this purpose. During the reservation processes, it is solely your responsibility to ensure that the third parties are aware that personal data of third parties, if any, is shared with VIX.events by you and that they accept the way VIX.events uses the data.
Customer Services: We’re offering customer services on the live support panel in our website and from our call center in order to meet your requests about services we provide and ease your reservation processes. Your personal data during your communication with our customer services personnel is processed in order to respond to your request.
Member Account Transactions: By becoming a member of VIX.events, you can manage your reservations, bulletins preferences and search preferences easily. If you create a member account, the personal data you share will be processed in order to help you make the most of your member account.
Contact: We may contact you for various purposes using the personal data you provide to VIX.events. We may, for example, send reminder and warning messages about your reservation transactions and reply to the requests you have communicated to us.
Legal Obligations: Your personal data can be processed and transferred if required by any legislative provision that VIX.events is subject to and stored for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or required for the purpose.
Resolution of Disputes: VIX.events may process your personal data and share it with the relevant legal authorities in order to prove that it performs legal procedures and fulfills its legal obligations in the future disputes that may arise and to ensure the resolution of the disputes.
Improving Services and Customer Satisfaction: Your personal data are processed to conduct analytical activities to improve your website experience and to take actions to increase customer satisfaction and service quality by evaluating your requests, complaints and suggestions. Publication of your evaluations and comments about accommodation facilities on the website may also be realized in the scope of legitimate interests of VIX.events. The purpose of these evaluations, which can be anonymous depending on your preference, is informing other users about the facility you accommodated.
Marketing/Advertising: VIX.events can use your information for various advertising and marketing activities if you give express consent. Within this scope, your personal data can be processed in order to create potential customer registration, inform you about campaigns and opportunities, conduct profiling, targeting and advertising activities, confront you with the most accurate offers according to your past preferences and tastes, send you the most accurate e-bulletins according to the preferences on your website profile. Your personal data will not be processed for the purposes in question if you don’t give your consent for marketing activities or if you take your approval back.
LEGAL REASONS FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data are processed on VIX.events in the presence of at least one of the legal reasons specified in The Law. The legal reasons on which the personal data processing purposes stated above are based are as follows:
• Hotel reservation transactions, customer services and member account processes are carried out on the basis of the legal reason for the establishment or execution of a contract specified in Article 5/2 (c) of The Law.
• The data processing activities we carry out in order to fulfill our legal obligations are based on the legal reason explicitly stated in Article 5/2 (ç) of The Law.
• Cases where personal data are processed for the resolution of disputes are based on the legal reason for the establishment, use or protection of a right specified in Article 5/2 (e) of The Law.
• Marketing and advertising activities are carried out on the basis of the legal reason for express content specified in Article 5/1 of The Law.
• Activities based on the purpose of improving services and customer satisfaction and communication are carried out on the basis of the legal reason of legitimate interest set out in The Law 5/2(f).
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
VIX.events shares the personal data of the User who realized the reservation with the accommodation facilities at home and abroad in order to complete and manage the reservations realized via website or mobile app.
In addition, your personal data may be shared with VIX.events’s business partners, suppliers from whom it procures outsourced services and relevant public institutions and organizations upon request within the scope of fulfilling legal obligations within the framework of the conditions specified in Articles 8 and 9 of The Law. In the case that the User gave consent to the processing of personal data with the purposes of marketing, profiling and advertising activities, it is possible to transfer the data to the solution partners who perform these activities on behalf of VIX.events.
METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA
Within the scope of the services provided to you and for the purposes of data processing mentioned above, VIX.events can collect your personal data in electronic environment via call center and e-mail channels and through reservation forms and membership registration forms on the website and mobile app or through website live support panel, website analysis tools and cookies. In addition, your personal data are also obtained through the cookies used in the website and mobile app.

YOUR RIGHTS AS DATA OWNER
You, by applying to VIX.events as data owner, have the following rights;
• To learn if your personal data have been processed or not,
• Requesting information regarding the personal data if they are processed,
• To learn the purpose of this data processing and whether the data are used for relevant purposes,
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred inside or outside the country,
• In case your personal data are incomplete or inaccurately processed, requesting these to be corrected and requesting the transactions made within this scope to be notified to third parties to whom your personal data are transferred,
• Although it has been processed in accordance with the Law No. 6698 and other relevant provisions of the law, in case the reasons of your personal data to be processed are eliminated, requesting the deletion or destruction of your personal data, and requesting the transactions made within this scope to be notified to the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred,
• Objection to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To claim compensation for the damages due to unlawful processing of your personal data.
If you submit your requests regarding your rights mentioned above to VIX.events in accordance with the application procedures stipulated in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Officer, VIX.events will conclude your request as soon as possible and not later than 30 (thirty) days free of charge. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, VIX.events may charge you the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board.
